I've proudly been a nurse for over 19 years, it's more than just a career—it's my true calling and passion. I have an extra love for the elderly and chronically ill, always striving to understand their deepest needs. I've seen firsthand how our healthcare system falls short in guiding patients and families through advanced chronic illness and aging. Nurses witness the unnecessary physical pain, emotional trauma, and futile care that often accompany the end of life. Due to heroic efforts, many die without the comfort, dignity, and peace they deserve. After seeing this all too often, I know my purpose is to help find a solution. The Conversation Nurse is comprised of experienced nurses dedicated to ending preventable suffering. History
Originally launched in 2018 as LovethyneighborNaples to provide exceptional private-duty nursing for the elderly, the business paused during COVID-19. Working as an ICU nurse during the pandemic clarified a new mission: mitigate preventable end-of-life suffering by helping people define their end-of-life goals, values, and preferences, and ensuring hospitals respect these wishes. The Conversation Nurse was launched in 2022 to revolutionize advance care planning, focusing on advocacy, education, and comprehensive advance care planning.
